The article "We must invest in our children" (Apr. 19) tells the story of a taxi driver in Riyadh who sacrificed a lot so that his two sons could become doctors. So how is it that he is still a cab driver? Are his sons too arrogant to help their poor father who drives a cab in his old age. It seems to me that the moral of the story here is: Put some money in a retirement fund and do not spend all of your money on your children. There should be a balanced approach to everything that we do in life. RK, Online response
