Saudi Gazette report RIYADH — Saudi Arabia has regained a total of 9,139 antique pieces from a number of American citizens who worked for Saudi Aramco in Dhahran before returning home, the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) has announced. The commission held its regular 35th meeting in Riyadh on Sunday under its chairman Prince Sultan Bin Salman. The prince said the pieces were returned through cooperation with the Foreign Ministry, the Saudi Embassy in Washington and Aramco. He said 11 new parcels containing various historical pieces were received in February. The prince said the pieces will be classified and reports will be written about them. He thanked all American citizens who willingly returned the antiquities. SCTA's figures are correct as of October 2013.
