With reference to the story "20,000 jobs in Haj transportation, few Saudis interested" by Ali Bin Gharsan (Aug. 18), I think the concerned authorities should consider hiring English-speaking expatriate drivers for transporting pilgrims. Most of the pilgrims come from other countries and could not speak or understand Arabic. The problem of not having enough drivers to transport pilgrims who are coming during the Haj season could also be solved while Saudis are still not willing to work as drivers which they may find as a menial work.
