With regard to the article “Fixing our education system” (May 21), I would like to point out that the education system throughout the world needs a complete overhaul not only in Saudi Arabia. We are losing the values of honesty, gentlemanliness, integrity, etc. What our education systems are doing is churning out money making machines, and we have to change this. The purpose of education is not just to produce engineers, doctors or managers. The purpose should be to create noble human beings who are an asset to society, not just machines that make money.
