RIYADH — Hasan Al-Huwaizi has been elected chairman of the board of directors of the Federation of Saudi Chambers (FSC) for a period of three years. Al-Huwaizi, who currently serves as chairman of the board of directors of the Abha Council of Chambers and Industry, will succeed Ajlan Al-Ajlan, a prominent businessman based in Riyadh. The meeting of the board of directors of FSC held in Riyadh on Sunday elected Badr Al-Ruzaiza as the first deputy chairman and Fayez Al-Shuaili as the second deputy chairman for a three-year term of 2023-2026. Al-Ruzaiza is currently holding the position of chairman of the board of directors of the Asharqia (Eastern Province) Chamber of Commerce and Industry, while Al-Shuaili is the chairman of the board of directors of Al-Rass Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The election process took place under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Commerce and the Legal Department of FSC to ensure the fairness and integrity of the procedures. The election results reflect the desire of the Saudi business sector, as the new chairman and his two deputies are distinguished business figures who have made remarkable contributions to the Saudi business and economic sectors.
