WASHINGTON – Saudi Ambassador to the United States Adel Al-Jubair has said that the US Homeland Security sees the Saudi nationals living in America having the least legal problems as compared to other foreigners in the country, the newly-launched Al Arabiya Arab in America website reported Sunday. “We thank God that the problems facing Saudi students are very very few. The cases we see are very few, to the extent that the US Homeland Security described the Saudis as the least problematic,” Al-Jubair was quoted as saying. In a meeting with the heads of Saudi student associations in the US, Al-Jubair said: “There are over 70,000 Saudi students here, and with their dependents they reach over 90,000.” “We have only seen few problems that are crime related. The rest are mostly educational and traffic problems,” he said. Last week, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah approved the extension of his scholarship program. – Al Arabiya
