LOGRONO, Spain — John Degenkolb sprinted to his second stage victory at the Spanish Vuelta Wednesday as Joaquin Rodriguez maintained his overall lead after a straightforward fifth leg. The Argos-Shimano cyclist burst over the finish ahead of Daniele Bennati of Italy and fellow German rider Gianni Meersman to cap a 167-km ride that took more than four hours. Rodriguez maintains a one-second advantage over Tour de France runner-up Christopher Froome and five-second lead over Alberto Contador. Thursday's sixth stage is a 175-kilometer leg ending in a mountain top finish at Jaca. — Reuter
