Saudi Arabia's Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu granted four contracts for a combined SR526 million ($140 million) to develop infrastructure projects in Yanbu, the Saudi Press Agency reported, citing a signing ceremony.
Beijing Construction Engineering Group Co. Ltd won two contracts valued at SR299 million to develop buildings in the industrial city on the western coast of the Kingdom, the official news service said.
The contracts were signed by Prince Saud Bin Abdullah Bin Thunayyan, Chairman of the Commission at his office in Riyadh. The first and second contracts were signed with Peking Company for Engineering Constructions Limited at a cost of SR299 million to construct the new headquarters for the Commission in Yanbu and the infrastructure in its vicinity.
