About 230 talented Saudi students will compete in a talent forum organized by the Committee of Private and International Schools at the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI). The two-day forum themed “Promising Talents for Promising Future” will start on March 5. During the forum, nine committees and 25 experts and specialists will interview participants according to universal standards. More than 230 talented participants have applied in different areas including artistic talent, literary, athletic, cultural, scientific, technical, media, leadership, and professional. Ghazi Bin Taleb, head of the Private and International Schools Committee in JCCI, said: “The forum aims to encourage talented students and work as incubators to provide a selection of talented students to the society.” The forum will be held in the Hall of Sheikh Ismail Abu Dawood and will exhibit the work, products and talents of the participants in the forum. “The participants should be 17-years-old and younger and have artistic talents in areas such as culture, literature and leadership, science, sports, media and technology.” The talent forum will be sponsored by the International Islamic Relief Organization Office and the Saudi Economic and Development Holding (SEDCO). – SG __
