An art exhibition titled “Earth Immortalizes” featuring paintings of Zuher Tolah opened Saturday under the patronage of Jeddah Mayor Dr. Hani Abu Ras. Dr. Aisha Natto, member of Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, inaugurated the exhibition for female visitors and businesswomen. “This is the 19th exhibition I'm participating in and I hope visitors will like my new collection,” said Zuher Hashem Tolah, who holds the Gold Palm Leaf Award. “There is great scope for art in the Kingdom. People here are appreciating the work of artists, and this can be seen in the increase in the number of awards given to artists from different parts of the country.” Dr. Natto said that art translates the country's culture. That's why artists around the world are held in great respect, she added. About 30 paintings inspired by the emotions of human feelings and interests are on display. “The inspiration was drawn from different periods of human history, beginning from the starting of the creation, with a focus on historic eras that reveal the secrets of lovers, written on sands of the desert,” he explained. __
