Labor Minister Adel Fakieh, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Development Fund, addresses a press conference during the launch of the second stage of the National Program for Aiding Job seekers in Riyadh, Tuesday. — SPA RIYADH – Labor Minister Adel Fakieh, who is also Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), launched here Tuesday the second stage of ‘Hafiz', the National Program for Aiding Job seekers. Addressing a press conference at the HRDF headquarters here, the minister urged those who have registered in Hafiz Program to complete their personal data on the program's website www.hafiz.gov.sa, especially those who have received an SMS, pointing out that those who registered their names will receive another SMS containing a password which they can use to access the website and update their data. He added that the completion of data will be made in stages, thus some may receive messages before the others. Completion of data will increase the possibility of finding job opportunities for the registered candidates. He added that the top priority of Hafiz Program is to find suitable jobs for those registered in the program besides organizing training for them. The financial aid provided to job seekers was only a temporary solution and will be provided only for 12 months and will end as soon as the candidate finds a suitable job. “It should be understood by all those who have registered their names that the payment of monthly aid will be linked to a strict compliance with the program's conditions. Those who don't abide by the program's conditions will be deprived of the privileges and eventually omitted from the records of those who deserve to get job search aid,” Minister Fakieh said. The ministry will carefully analyze the data to provide the best match for job seekers in tune with their skills, said the minister. He stressed that the ministry and the Human Resources Development Fund “Hadf ” will provide a database for those registered in Hafiz periodically to link and create a positive interaction between business owners, job seekers and academic institutions. Ibrahim Al-Meagail, Director General of the HRDF reviewed every step of the second stage of Hafiz which starts with the completion of data of the registered job seekers before the Ministry of Labor begins to search jobs for them. He said in case that program does not find a job for the registered, then the criteria of the legibility of the aid will be enforced so that those who conform to the criteria will be given financial aid starting next Muharram.
