The Ministry of Interior has established a new security sector, the Diplomats Protection Security Force, to protect embassies, consulates and diplomats in the Kingdom. The new organization comes under Public Security. Its Deputy Director, Maj. Gen. Nasser Bin Saud Al-Arfaj, Monday launched the construction of its headquarters in the Public Security Training City, in the presence of a number of leading security commanders and figures. The headquarters has been provided with all the required staff and suitable equipment, he said. Brig. Gen. Dr. Ghanim Bin Abdullah Al-Sehaibani, commander of the Diplomats Protection Security Force, lauded the expansion Public Security is witnessing at all levels and said he valued the limitless support the Diplomats Security Force receives from all security commanders. General Al-Sehaibani stressed the roles and importance of the new organization, which is considered to be an important addition to support the march of security in this nation, which will boost all security efforts. The Diplomats Protection Security Force has started its field work as an arm of the Diplomats Security Force and provided protection and security according to its tasks, he added. Col.
