RIYADH: Shoppers at Lulu Hypermarkets during the month-long Riyadh Summer Festival that opened Wednesday will get an opportunity to win an LCD TV set on a daily basis.
A total of 60 Sony television sets will be given away to prize winners through a lucky draw held at 10 P.M. every day starting from June 29, said Shafeeq Rahman, Lulu Hypermarkets General Manager.
“Lulu Hypermarkets has a line of activities as part of the month-long Riyadh Summer Festival with prizes such as Sony LCD TV sets, with two winners on each day of the festivities,” said Rahman.
The shoppers at Lulu Hypermarkets will receive a coupon on purchase of every SR50 that will enable them to participate in the daily lucky draws. It is not necessary for the shoppers to be present at the time of the draw, because Lulu's management will inform the lucky winners by calling them on their mobile phone, he said.
Rahman said Lulu Hypermarkets is also hosting a Thailand Food Festival for a 10-day period for Thai and other Southeast Asian nationals to enjoy shopping for freshly imported food products from Thailand.
He said Lulu wants to attract every nationality to visit the store and take advantage of their country's food which is imported fresh and made available at competitive prices.
“We will import a wide range of food products from Thailand including fruits and vegetables. Our hot food court will offer delicious Thai dishes,” he said.
During the summer holiday season, Saudis and expatriates can have a unique shopping experience with up to 50 percent discount on a number of items in Lulu's Department Stores, all under one roof.
The Department Stores showcase a wide range of items such as electrical and electronic items, garments, footwear, toys, a variety of ladies bags, and Indian fashions offered on sale, he said.
He said Lulu has stockpiles of items that meet the needs of shoppers planning to go on summer vacation. Lulu Hypermarkets is a one-stop shop and family store for all nationalities.
