Abdul Wahed and Siddiqui hit centuries in Jotun Cup

Hyderabad Green cricket team after winning the match against KAIA.JEDDAH: Young Athletes beat Saliheen by 4 wickets, Hyderabad Green-XI thrashed KAIA by nine wickets, Reel & Rom beat Desert Warriors by one wicket and Al-Khulais-XI dumped ACC by 81 runs in the fifth week matches of Jotun Paints Cup for the Division-II,sponsored by the Jotun Company and organized by the Jeddah Cricket Association-(JCA).
Saliheen batting first made a huge target of 241-3 in 18 overs against the champions of division-II Young Athletes, Imran Butt made an impressive 50 runs off 23 balls and Amjad Siddiqui hit an unbeaten knock of 121 off just 47 balls (16x4 & 6x6), Abdul Wahed scored 55 runs. Khalid took two wickets while Sami had taken one for Young Athletes.
In reply the Athletes reached the target 246-6 in 18th over and won the match by 4 wickets. Abdul Wahed made the match winning 104 runs and Sami made 79, Iftekhar 25 and Atta Ur Rehman contributed 16 runs. Mahmoud grabbed two wickets while Amjad, Imran Butt and Irfan Butt took one wicket each for Saliheen.
In the second match KAIA, batting first, scored 153 all out against Hyderabad Green-XI. Hassan 27, Shahid made 39, Kausar 13 and Younus contributed 14 runs. Abdullah picked up 5-26, Saleh Abdullah took 1-24 while Adnan had 1-11.
In reply Hyderabad Green-XI reached the target 156-1 in 16.2 overs. Rayeesuddin made 73 runs, Anwar Ahmed Khan scored 53 not out and Majid scored 14 runs off just 4 balls. Shajeeb had taken 1-27 for KAIA.
The third match saw Desert Warriors, batting first, scored 162-8 in 18 overs against Reel & Rom.
Abdul Aziz scored the highest 43, Jawad 26, Javed 22, Aleem 15 and Wasi had contributed 8 runs. Jameel, Muneer and Nizar took two wickets each while Imran had a wicket for Reel & Rom.
In reply Reel & Rom reached the target 165-9 in 18th over and won the match by one wicket. Imran Khan made 67, Wajid 30, Nisar 27 and Muneer Ahmed 12 runs. Aleem, Rehan and Muzammil grabbed two wickets each for Desert Warriors.
In the fourth match Al-Khulais-XI batting first scored 188-8 in 18 overs against ACC. Ismail 40, Mohammad Akmal 39, Mohammad Aslam 39, Taufeeq 17 and Bisharath and Shahid 16 runs each. Abdul Rehman had 3 wickets, Tabrez and Abid had one wicket each for ACC.
In reply the ACC were all out for 107 in 16.2 overs and lost the match by 81 runs. Abdul Rehman scored 26, Khanzeb 14, Tabrez 12, Abid 10, Khalil took 3 wickets, Muzammil and Shahid had 2 wickets while Javed and Aslam had one wicket each.
