The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the Cabinet's session at Al-Yamamah palace in Riyadh on Monday afternoon.

The Cabinet stressed that the joint statement on announcement of the formation of the Islamic alliance to fight terrorism militarily, intellectually and in the media in coordination with the important countries in the world and international organizations, which includes a group of Islamic states that make up the majority of the Islamic world, embodies the achievement of integration, closing of ranks, unification of efforts to combat it in all its forms and manifestations and eliminate its objectives and causes, and the performance of the duty to protect the nation from the evils of all armed and terrorist groups and organizations whatever might be their doctrines and names.
The Cabinet commended the support of a number of Arab, Islamic and friendly countries, international organizations and parliaments for the formation of Islamic alliance against terrorism and every effort to combat and eliminate it.
